Can be grown all year round on Scarabhill. It is part of the brassica family (cabbage, broccoli, turnips, etc.). Great for green juices, salad greens or lightly steamed, drizzled with a dressing and spices.
This food is low in saturated fat, and very low in cholesterol. It is also a good source of dietary fibre, protein, thiamin, riboflavin, folate, iron, magnesium and phosphorus, and a very good source of vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, vitamin B6, calcium, potassium, copper and manganese.
