Our chickens are raised by a farmer who grows and mixes all their feed. It is therefore guaranteed to be GMO, herbicide and pesticide free. The chickens are housed in tractors ensuring that their feet touch the earth, light is natural where the sun dictates the rhythm of farmer and chickens.

Once the chooks have reached their cull weight, the farmer then slaughters on farm ensuring strict care for the bird thereby reducing stress levels for all concerned.

Culling birds is the not so "nice" part of our food production but the care taken comes through in the quality of the final product. There is a bit more fat on these birds due to the longer growing times of the birds in an open environment.
